SMTP Configuration

Hi All,

 

I am working on SMTP (Mail)Configuration in SAP Solution Manager 7.1.

 

I read note 455140 and configured accordingly.

 

Steps I followed:

 

1. parameters maintained:   icm/server_port_2 = PROT=SMTP,PORT=25000,TIMEOUT=180

                                            is/SMTP/virt_host_0 = *:25000;

2. User maintained: Dialog user with S_A.SCON profile with user address as  username@<companyname>.com

3.Client Assignment: (SICF):  a. Host Data:Profile Parameter Number: is/SMTP/virt_host_0

                                               b. Service data: Client 100, user: username, password: ***, language: EN.

                                               c. Handler List: CL_SMTP_EXT_SAPCONNECT in the first position

Saved Changes n Activated.

4.SAPconnect administration (SCOT):

a. Default domain: <companyname>.com

b. Nodes: SMTP  Under node:   Mail Host: <HOSTNAME_OF_SOLMAN>     Mail Port: 25000  In Internet  Address Area: *

 

5.Scheduled periodic Job with SAP&CONNECTALL variant

6. telnet <HOSTNAME> 25000 is successful

 

With this settings I am unable to send mails to my company's mail id i.e to Internet Mail . I am getting error:      from SOST:

No delivery to ishan.sangai@<companyname>.com  (Its a internet mail id )

 

Message no. XS812

 

Diagnosis

The SAP system has processed the message correctly. However, an error occurred in a subsequent system. The message was not delivered to recipient ishan.sangai@<companyname>.com.

 

Information from External System

554 Transaction failed.

 

I am not getting why this is happening  but mails within system i.e to user are working.  Please help me to sole this problem.

Hello All,

 

Iu2019m in search of SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio v7.0+  and/or v7.1+ (or both). I did try looking on SAP website but was unable to find a direct download (not sure if there is any). What other methods should I try?

SAP SSO Configuration - NW JAVA 7.31

Hi All,

 

I am trying to configure SSO between Microsoft active directory 2008 and SAP JAVA 7.31 on Windows 2008 Server.

 

Now we are trying to generate keytab file using Microsoft Windows KDC:

 

>ktpass -princ host/javahost.mydomain.com@MYDOMAIN.COM -pass ******* -out C:\krb5.keytab -mapUser newuser +DesOnly -crypto DES-CBC-MD5 -ptype KRB5_NT_PRINCIPAL

 

After that when we are moving the file krb5.keytab to "JAVAHOST" system and used the ktab command to add the SPN to a default keytab file. Created krb5.ini file and copied to c:\winnt\ location and executed the below command from SIDadm user.

 

>ktab.exe -a HTTP/javahost.mydomain.com@MYDOMAIN.COM ******* -k c:\winnt\krb5.keytab

Done!

Service key for HTTP/javahost.mydomain.com@MYDOMAIN.COM is saved in c:\winnt\krb5.keytab.

 

But when we check the klist command it shows the below output:

>C:\winnt>klist

Current LogonId is 0:0x1737b1

Cached Tickets: (0)

 

C:\winnt>ktab

No default key table exists.

 

Please let us know, where I am making mistake.

Connection closed after (protocol) error (RC=1); Help!

Hello Experts,

There is user when he want to print from SAP he get the error  ( base in Tcode SP01): Connection closed after (protocol) error (RC=1).

He can print fom Word, Excel without any Problem.

The other users can print  from SAP without any Problem.

My SAP account can print w/out any problem in my computer or in any other computer except for this one which when I try

my SAP account also get the error.

Could you help me please Netweaver Consultant, needs help regarding Connection closed after (protocol) error(RC=1) Help!

Error in Connecting SAP As ABAP system using SAP GUI through SNC

Hi All,

 

I enabled  SNC in SAP As ABAP system, while connecting through SAPGUI it is throwing follwoing error.

 

 

GSS-API(mai):NO credentials were supplied

 

Unable to establish the security context

 

target-"p:CN=xx, O=xxxxx.com"

 

 

Please find attachment below and please provide solution for this

Central instance and SAP instance

hello,

 

 

Im confusing with Central Instance (CI) and SAP instance (Application Instance)

 

According to my understanding, i think SAP instance is running on all the Aplication servers. (if having 4 Application servers, in all those servers, SAP instance is running concurrently)

 

But Central instance is running on 1 of the Application servers only.

 

- How will the SAP decides on which Application should run the central instance.

Will that CI change automatically time to time.... or do we need to allocate 1 Application server as CI server, when doing the installation.

 

 

 

Is there any relationship between Message server and Central instance.

 

Does CI contains message services and enqueue service...

 

plz help me to reslove these issues

Upgrade NW Components Separate to ERP Components

Afternoon,

 

I used to think this was possible under the old SPAM update method, but with NW 7.40 SP05, you have to use SUM.

 

I need to apply SAP Netweaver 7.40 SP05, to an SAP SEM-BCS system.

The SEM-BCS is the one which is included in a stripped down ERP 6 EHP 7 install.

 

The stack for ERP 6 EHP 7 SPS02 includes Netweaver 7.40 SPS04.

I need SPS05 which requires Kernel 7.41.

 

How the heck can I generate a stack in MOPz to just update the underlying Netweaver components and not the ERP/SEM-BCS layer?

I thought that support package stacks were introduced to ensure you only upgrade to a complete consistent and compatible stack.

I don't know if I need to go back to SAP and tell them I can't apply their suggested upgrade path.  (That's right, SAP suggested this).

Connection closed after (protocol) error (RC=1); Help!

Hello Experts,

There is user when he want to print from SAP he get the error  ( base in Tcode SP01): Connection closed after (protocol) error (RC=1).

Query on BTCTRNS1 and BTCTRNS2

I have following doubts for running the BTCTRNS1 and 2

 

1.  How is the process , Are there any chances of harming batch jobs in the system?

 

2. what happen with the jobs which are active when we run this program.

 

3. what are the import jobs , I heard that status of these jobs do not get changed when you run this program

 

Please provide me the answer as your earliest I need to do this activity ..

SAPROUTER: NIESNC_FAILURE

Hallo, All!

 

I've installed saprouter and generated all necessary certificate.

 

At testing RFC-connection SAPOSS I received the next:

READ ROUTTAB ./saprouttab o.k.

CONNECT FROM C9/- host 192.168.32.143/47380 (sapsm1.local)

CONNECT TO   S9/-1 host 194.39.131.34/sapdp99 (194.39.131.34) (p:CN=sapserv2, OU=SAProuter, O=SAP, C=DE)

CONNECT ERR  S9/-1 NIESNC_FAILURE

2013 DISCONNECT   C9/-1 host 192.168.32.143/47380 (sapsm1.itc-c.local)

 

I started with script:

export SECUDIR=/usr/sap/saprouter                                                                                                                      
export SNC_LIB=/usr/sap/saprouter/libsapcrypto.so                                                                                                      

saprouter -r -S 3299 -V 3 -Grouter.log -K "p:CN=sapsm1.local, OU=0001blabla, OU=SAProuter, O=SAP, C=DE" &

 

My saprouttab file contains:

KT "p:CN=sapserv2, OU=SAProuter, O=SAP, C=DE" 194.39.131.34 *  

KP "p:CN=sapserv2, OU=SAProuter, O=SAP, C=DE" 192.168.32.143 3299

P * *   * 

 

I've read all information from google and can't find the resolving of my problem:

Please tell me where I can to customize SNC settings?
